Kerr, who debuted in Friday’s 2-1 win over Brighton and Hove Albion, revealed Liverpool manager Matt Beard had tried to recruit her before and that he believed he was now getting “a more mature player” and “a complete player”.
“He also made the decision easy for me too,” Kerr explained.
“It was a hard decision to leave everything I had back in Munich. I loved my time at Bayern. The only downfall is maybe not playing the minutes that I hoped to play.
“Now it’s important for me to play and get the game time that I need so I can contribute more to the team and really find myself again as a player and bring that fire back for myself.
“The league is so competitive. Every game, you need to be on it. The game’s fast paced, the teams play all different as well, it’s physical.
“It’s a really exciting league to be a part of. Every game’s going to be a hard game and that’s what you want.”
