I’m A Celeb star Myles Stephenson has revealed his two-year-old daughter was rushed to hospital after she “stopped breathing”.
The singer – who won X Factor in 2017 with his band Rak-Su – is a proud dad to Sahara and son Siloh, four, who he shares with partner Keli Hall.
However, Myles recently shared that he had to rush his daughter to the hospital after she “turned blue” – with Myles calling it “the scariest thing I’ve ever seen.”
Myles Stephenson in scary A&E dash
Taking to his Instagram on Friday (January 17), Myles uploaded a photo of his daughter in A&E.
He captioned the post: “This little princess had a seizure yesterday evening and stopped breathing and turned blue! Single-handedly the scariest thing I’ve ever seen!”
“Her temperature spiked causing a (febrile) seizure. For any parents with young children please look up Febrile Seizures and research.:
He then added: “It will not only help your child but also you if it should ever happen, especially during flu season.”
Myles Stephenson on son’s stroke
A few years ago, Myles’ son Shiloh had a stroke either during birth or shortly after being born.
He first noticed something wasn’t right with Shiloh when he was six months old. Tests showed that the tot had suffered damage to the left side of his brain.
Shiloh was then diagnosed with Hemiplegic cerebral palsy.
‘I can’t do anything about it’
“We got told he’d had a stroke and that there is brain damage on the left side of his brain and you get shown the pictures, it hit home because you can see the damage,” he said on Steph’s Packed Lunch.
Since finding out, Myles revealed he has “been dealing with demons”.
He then added: “As much as I would love to take it all away and it be on me I can’t do anything about it. So there was a lot of processing and a lot of re-finding ourselves and kind of re-evaluating.”
