The 2013-14 Biathlon World Cup season is now over since few days and the big winners are… Kaisa Mäkäräinen of Finland and Martin Fourcade of France !!!
Fourcade wrapped up his big crystal globe a while back, but Mäkäräinen sealed hers with seventh place in today’s women’s mass start. With a smile as big as the Holmenkollen Ski Jump in the background, she commented : « Winning, I guess was more of a dream earlier in the season. But today before the race, I decided that if I won that would be great, but if not, life would go on. »
