Chelsea defender Trevor Chalovar has posted on social media after his “short and sweet” loan spell at Crystal Palace ended.
The west London club have exercised their right to recall Chalobah, 25, from Crystal Palace after just six months at the club.
Chelsea confirmed the decision in a statement on Wednesday, saying: “Chelsea has recalled defender Trevo Chalobah from his loan spell with Premier League side Crystal Palace. The academy graduate joined the Eagles on loan in August and was joined by Oliver Glasner. He played 14 games under the manager and scored three goals.
Charova was recalled after Wesley Fofana and Benoît Badiashile sustained serious muscle injuries, with Fofana unlikely to feature again this season.
Enzo Maresca’s side made the decision just hours before Palace faced Leicester City, a game they won with goals from Jean-Philippe Mateta and Marc Guech.
