The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed during Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian’s visit to Dushanbe.
The signing ceremony took place after discussions between Mr. Pezeshkian and his Tajikistani counterpart.
The memorandum covers a wide range of areas including politics, economics, culture, education, transport and trade.
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian arrived in Dushanbe on Wednesday night, met with President Emomali Rahmon and signed a number of memorandums of understanding between the two countries.
Masoud Pezeshkian, who was visiting Tajikistan at the official invitation of President Emomali Rahmon, was greeted by Prime Minister of Tajikistan Kokir Rasulzoda when he arrived at Dushanbe Airport.
Iran and the Republic of Tajikistan signed as many as 13 cooperation documents in various fields on Wednesday in Dushanbe to expand bilateral relations.
The document was signed as part of the Iran-Tajikistan Business Forum held in Dushanbe, where Reza Salehi Amiri, Iran’s Minister of Cultural Heritage, Handicrafts and Tourism, led the Iranian trade delegation.
