The Nolans singer died yesterday, aged 65, surrounded by her sisters
Linda Nolan (65) was not one for self-pity. Any time I interviewed her, she was positive, upbeat and oozed charm. There was no question too personal and nothing off the record. She maintained that uniquely Irish sense of humour until the end.
An extraordinary woman with many talents, she was not one to wallow in the darkness when she was dealt an unfair hand. On receiving the devastating news that her cancer had returned in April 2020, within days of her sister Anne receiving the same diagnosis, she was amazingly upbeat.
