Man City ace Phil Foden rallied his team on social media after scoring twice in a 2-2 draw with Brentford in the Premier League on Tuesday (January 14).
The 24-year-old took the lead in the 66th minute when he connected with Kevin De Bruyne’s pinpoint cross and slotted the ball past Mark Frecken into the Brentford goal.
Just 12 minutes later, Foden scored his second goal when Frecken could only pass Sabinho’s first shot directly.
Brentford started the fight back in the 82nd minute through Ioan Wissa, who scored from close range after Nathan Ake missed a chance to intercept Mats Roelslev’s cross.
The goalkeeper was unable to stop Cristian Norgaard’s header and Stefan Ortega’s roar gave Brentford an equaliser.
