Megadeth founder Dave Mustaine and his family are expanding their winemaking venture House of Mustaine, announcing new events and members-only travel experiences.
Originating with 2013’s “Symphony Interrupted” Cabernet Sauvignon, inspired by a collaboration between Megadeth and the San Diego Symphony Orchestra, House of Mustaine has since expanded its portfolio to include sustainable wines from Italy and California. now includes 10 small-batch, limited-edition wines grown in the finest vineyards.
Dave’s wife, Pamela, and daughter, Electra, serve as president and vice president of the brand, respectively, and the company plans to host House of Mustaine Wine Club events around the family’s Nashville area in 2025. .
First, Pamela and Electra are hosting a “Marche Wine Dinner” on January 30th at Italian Restaurant Yolan. This includes a sparkling wine welcome reception and a specially designed Marche-inspired five-course tasting menu featuring selections from the House of Wine. Mustaine’s Marche collection.
Later on February 22nd, House of Mustaine will celebrate the “intersection of art, food and wine” in collaboration with Edible Nashville and the Frist Art Museum’s “Farm to Table” experience. This includes a five-course meal created by Edible Nashville Executive Chef Skyler Busch and Margot Cafe & Bar’s Special Guest Chef Margot McCormack, and wines from House of Mustaine.
Additional events will be held throughout the year, and House of Mustaine Wine Club members will also have private access to monthly luxury travel experiences, starting with a trip to Thailand in February. A trip to London is planned for March, and future trips to Italy, France, Kenya, Ireland and Iceland are also planned. More details will be announced in the coming weeks and months.
