The Yemeni military conducted a high-level military operation in the Red Sea as part of its support for Gaza and its resistance, and in response to the invasion of Yemen by Israel, the United States, and the United Kingdom.
A joint operation by the Yemeni military’s missile and drone forces used numerous drones and missiles to target the American aircraft carrier Harry S. Truman and a number of accompanying warships in the northern Red Sea, Al Maya said. Dean reported.
According to a statement released by Yemeni military media, the engagement lasted about nine hours and was successfully accomplished, forcing the aircraft carrier to flee to the far north of the Red Sea, leaving its designated operational area.
This is the aircraft carrier’s fifth target since its deployment in the Red Sea.
Announcing the operation, Yemeni Armed Forces Spokesman Brigadier General Yahya Salih stressed that the Yemeni military is fully prepared to deal with an escalation of attacks by the US or Israeli regime.
He stressed that Yemen has fulfilled its obligations to the oppressed Palestinian people and will continue to fulfill its obligations in this area.
Since the Gaza regime launched a devastating war after the Palestinian resistance movement in the Gaza Strip launched a surprise retaliatory attack on the occupying entity on October 7, dubbed Operation Al-Aqsa Storm, Yemenis have has expressed public support for the Palestinian struggle against Israeli occupation.
Yemen’s military says it will not stop its attacks until Israel’s relentless ground and air offensive in the Gaza Strip, which has killed at least 27,948 people and wounded another 67,459, ends.
In December, the United States and Britain announced a military coalition to support Israel and target Yemen.
