Zimbabwe all-rounder Ryan Burl delivered a stellar man-of-the-match performance with both bat and ball as his side, Durbar Rajshahi, secured their second win in the Bangladesh Premier League with a 28-run victory over the Khulna Tigers.
Burl smashed an unbeaten 48 off just 29 balls, propelling Rajshahi to a competitive total of 178 for five.
With the ball, he proved equally effective, taking two wickets for just 13 runs in his two overs, sealing a vital win on matchday five.
Having taken a break from the domestic scene and been out of favour with the new Justin Sammons-led national team setup, Burl’s strong showing in Bangladesh could boost his confidence – and his pocket too.
