Hux’s home was introduced in season 2 as Deborah Vance’s (Jean Smart) “side mansion” in LA. Both the interior and exterior of this house were filmed in the show. “We shot a lot on the street, in the front yard, throughout the house and in the backyard. We got to know the property really well,” Kradorfer said.

The mansion has been used as a film location for over a century, starting with the 1921 Max Linder film Seven Years Bad Luck. Over the past three seasons with the Hucks, Kradorfer and his team “got to know the neighborhood really well,” he said, recalling sitting in the kitchen with the homeowner. Ta.
