Ministry of Social Development and Family to hold winter bazaar tomorrow
Doha, January 08 (QNA) – The Ministry of Social Development and Family, represented by the Department of Family Empowerment, will launch the “Winter Bazaar” event in the gardens of the Arab Museum of Modern Art on Thursday.
The ministry said the event will be held weekly (every Thursday) for three months as a platform to showcase the outputs of productive projects “from the motherland” that represent authentic Qatari cultural heritage.
Fatima Al Nuaimi, Director General of the Ministry of Family Empowerment, said that the Winter Bazaar is an important step to empower owners of productive projects and highlight creativity in different fields, adding that the event is a regional development It reflects the ministry’s commitment to strengthening the role of women in the country and supporting national products to build a diverse and sustainable economy in which all members of society contribute.
This event aims to support the nation’s productive projects “from the motherland” by highlighting the role of the owners of productive projects in strengthening the national economy.
The Ministry of Social Development and Family also pays close attention to ensuring equal opportunities for all strata of society, starting with empowering women as effective social components in various contexts.

The Ministry of Social Development and Family called on local residents to participate in the event, stressing that the Winter Bazaar is part of the national effort to achieve all pillars of sustainable development in line with Qatar Vision 2030.
The ministry said the event is expected to contribute to strengthening the role of productive project owners in supporting the national economy, protecting cultural heritage and providing a sustainable marketing platform to unleash creativity. (QNA)
