Standing out from the crowd with limited-edition skis is all the rage this year. Joining the likes of Faction, Atomic, and more, blackcrows is releasing a special version of the iconic Nocta powder skis as part of their 2025 Powder Hunter Capsule. This year, the skis are joined by custom Oxus poles and a new version of the Dorsa 22 backcountry pack. Check out the whole collection here.
The exclusive collection will drop online at different dates in conjunction with snowstorm cycles across North America and Europe. “The Nocta is blackcrows iconic tool for a powder day , only available once in a season when the snowstorm hits the mountains,” says Christophe Villemin, the co-founder and CEO of blackcrows. “This annual drop is a tribute to the passion, the precision and the aesthetics that define the powder hunter experience.”
As blackcrows says in a press release, “This exclusive capsule is designed for pursuit of pleasure in fresh storms. It invites skiers to embrace the storm, don their unique gear, and ride into the deep.”

The 122mm-underfoot Nocta is unchanged from the current version, save for the powder-day inspired topsheet and bright bases. The vibe matches the all-white Dorsa pack and white Oxus extended-grip poles. The pack is constructed with X-Pac fabric for durability, it features a compact and snug-fitting design. It includes a dedicated front pocket for shovel and probe, a full U-shaped backpanel for easy access to the main compartment, and concealed technical accessories.
