Misfits Market is an online subscription based grocery service dedicated to making affordable, high-quality food more accessible while helping break the cycle of food waste. They work directly with farmers and food producers to source organic produce, high-quality meats and seafood, sustainable pantry staples, and other groceries that might otherwise go to waste.
The vast majority of their fresh produce is certified organic and non-GMO, however, they do occasionally rescue responsibly grown conventional produce to avoid it going to waste. All items that are organic are clearly indicated on their website.
Membership is free with a $30 minimum and you order your groceries within a 3 day shopping window. Items are shipped using eco-friendly packaging, including recycled cardboard boxes that are, in turn, 100% recyclable.
