Abd al-Wahāb Sha’bān writes in Al-Watan that several Coptic organizations, among them “Copts without Restrictions,” “Copts for Egypt,’ and the movement “Civil Rights for Christians,” have announced that they will participate in the 24th of August demonstrations.
Michael Munīr from the “Al-Hayāh” party said the demonstrations would be a message to the Muslim Brotherhood that “the country is not theirs alone”.
