Artists including 21 Savage, Gunna, Metro Boomin and Wiz Khalifa have been confirmed to perform at the Balad Beast 2025 music festival in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
The event is scheduled for January 30-31 and will be held at Al Balad, a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
MDLBEAST says it has “carefully selected a lineup that combines international sensibilities and local talent to provide attendees with a one-of-a-kind musical experience to suit every taste.”
In addition to trap and hip-hop stars 21 Savage, Gunna, Metro Boomin, and Wiz Khalifa, Ballad Beast will also feature performances from Michael Kiwanuka, Ghostly Kiss, and Zayn.
The festival says it also champions local and regional talent, spotlighting artists such as Dish Dash, Birdperson and Vinyl Mode.
Other electronic music programs on the festival lineup will feature sets from Alexander Skancke, Brawther, Maceo Plex, Mau P, and more.
The festival’s organizer, Saudi Arabia-based music entertainment company MDLBEAST, claims the event is a “one-of-a-kind festival” that showcases “Saudi Arabia’s rich cultural tapestry.”
Held in Jeddah’s historic center, Balad Beast will host four different stages occupying different courtyards.
MDLBEAST was established in 2019 following the launch of its flagship festival SOUNDSTORM. It currently operates under three corporate divisions: XP Music Futures, MDLBEAST PRESENTS, and MDLBEAST Record Label.
Last summer, the company expanded into music publishing with the launch of MDLBEAST Publishing.
This new division aims to collaborate with songwriters, producers and artists from Saudi Arabia and the Middle East and North Africa region.
MDLBEAST Publishing said it will work with Sentric to provide global support beyond the MENA region and management services for registering authors’ works.
XP Music Futures is a MENA-focused music conference. The event was held last month (December 5-7) in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
MDLBEAST says XP Music Futures aims to expand the music and creative scene in Saudi Arabia and the entire Middle East region. world music business
