She’s spent her life sharing the stage with her mother, but now Blue Ivy is ready for her own moment in the spotlight.
After performing with Beyoncé at the NFL’s halftime show on Christmas Day, the 12-year-old is now hoping to follow in her mother’s footsteps and do more music.
“Blue has more performance bugs than ever,” a source told DailyMail.com.
“This performance was very important to her. She did not want to embarrass herself or her mother,” they continued.
“She loves the possibility of recording more music in the future, with or without her parents, and is looking forward to the next few years to become the artist she wants to be.”
A source added, “This performance was a great stepping stone to her future dreams.”
This comes after Blue outshined her mother’s 5-foot-6 frame as they danced side by side during an epic NFL halftime performance at NRG Stadium in Beyoncé’s hometown of Houston on Wednesday.
The 43-year-old pop diva and her beleaguered husband Jay-Z will be celebrating their “gorgeous baby girl,” who turns 13 on January 7th, officially becoming a teenager.

Midway through the song, Bey gave a subdued shout-out to the precocious Nepobaby when he changed the word “boy” in the lyrics to “blue.” “Now turn me in the middle, Blue, I can’t read your mind.”
In fact, the 32-time Grammy winner and Blue did a two-step and line dance with the rest of the group before linking arms and performing a do-si-do, square dance moment.

The child prodigy has also collaborated with his famous parents on numerous hit songs.
She made her musical debut with her father Jay-Z’s 2012 single “Glory,” which made Blue the youngest person ever to chart on the Billboard charts.
In 2019, Blue featured on Beyoncé’s Lion King single “Brown Skin Girl”, which reached number 76 on the Billboard Hot 100.

“If you told your younger self that you were in a movie, I don’t think you would ever believe yourself,” Blue said in an interview with Disney Studios.
“It’s been a really great experience and I feel like everyone who’s been a part of this has been so kind and supportive,” she continued.
“I’m really happy that girls who look like me around the world can watch this movie and hear and see themselves in it.”
