នៅថ្ងៃព្រហស្បតិ៍ ទី១៤ វិច្ឆិកានេះ អគ្គនាយកដ្ឋានអត្តសញ្ញាណកម្មកម្ពុជាបានចេញមកបំភ្លឺជុំវិញករណីជនជាតិចិនមួយរូបឈ្មោះ Daren Li ដែលក្រសួងយុត្តិធម៌អាមេរិកបានកាត់ទោសក្នុងសំណុំរឿងលាងលុយកខ្វក់។ អគ្គនាយកដ្ឋានអត្តសញ្ញាណកម្មកម្ពុជាបានបញ្ជាក់នៅក្នុងសេចក្តីបំភ្លឺថា ជនជាតិចិនរូបនោះមិនមានកាន់សញ្ជាតិខ្មែរឡើយ។ ការបំភ្លឺនេះធ្វើឡើង បន្ទាប់ពីមានការចុះផ្សាយរបស់វិទ្យុបារាំងអន្តរជាតិក្នុងថ្ងៃពុធ ទី១៣ វិច្ឆិកាថា ជនជាតិ ចិនឈ្មោះ Daren Li មានសញ្ជាតិខ្មែរ។
